Behind the scenes: your questions answered!
General
Your team steps into completely new roles (in front of or behind the camera), which fosters creativity, collaboration, and problem-solving. It’s a powerful way to strengthen relationships and discover hidden talents in a unique, fun environment.
We provide everything needed to create a film: scripts, costumes, props, professional filming equipment, experienced filmmakers, and event organisers to ensure a smooth process. From the initial consultation to post-production, we take care of every detail.
Unless otherwise stated, the price does not include the venue or catering. However, we’re happy to organise the entire event package including securing a suitable venue upon request.
We cater for groups from 5 to over 1,000 participants. Larger teams are split into smaller film crews to ensure everyone has a meaningful role and the best possible experience.
Each film crew includes up to 20 participants. For larger groups, we form multiple crews so several films are produced in parallel.
Not at all! Our filmmakers guide you every step of the way, and there’s a role for everyone – from acting and directing to styling or setting the scene.

Yes, minor adjustments can usually be made. For major changes such as the number of participants or the event date, please get in touch with us as early as possible. Additional fees may apply depending on the notice period.
Once you accept our proposal, we’ll send over a booking confirmation and invoice for the non-refundable 50% deposit. The remaining balance is due 30 days before the event.
Event Schedule
The experience can range from a short 2-hour session to a full-day event, depending on your schedule and goals.
A classic cinematic team-building experience with The Filmevent usually lasts around seven hours — from the initial welcome to the final film premiere and awards ceremony. Between the filming and the premiere, there’s typically a break of around three hours, which you can use for dinner, drinks, or other planned activities.
- 2:00 pm – Welcome and briefing by The Filmevent (Earlier access to the venue required for set-up)
- 2:30 pm – Pre-production: preparation and role assignment
- 3:30 pm – Filming begins
- 5:00 pm – Break for participants (e.g. dinner) | Post-production and editing by our crew
- 7:00 pm – Film premiere and awards ceremony

This is just one suggested schedule — we’re highly flexible and happy to tailor the timeline to suit your needs and agenda.

Yes. We deliver events in all seasons. We’ll work with you to adapt to indoor or outdoor settings depending on the time of year.
Location & Venue
Anywhere in the UK or abroad. We can transform your office, a hotel, your local pub or any venue into a professional film set. If you need help sourcing a location, we’re happy to assist.
We’re happy to help secure a suitable venue for your event at an additional charge. If you already have a venue in mind, we can adapt the setup to almost any space — including offices, hotels, or even your local pub.
During the event, an extra room is needed to set up the costumes and props. Later, this space can also be used for post-production when quietness and focus are required for our filmmakers.
For the welcome gathering at the beginning of the event and for the premiere, it is preferable to have a spacious room for all the participants and the screening equipment (e.g. projector, screen, sound) to be available.
No worries! We’re well-versed in improvising. Rain or shine, the show goes on. We always have backup plans and are happy to shoot indoors.
Access to electricity, plus a projector, screen and sound system. If your venue doesn’t have these, we can supply equipment for up to 80 participants. For larger groups, we’ll coordinate technical requirements with the venue.
The Film
We offer a diverse selection of over 10 scripts: from mafia stories and superhero adventures to music videos and iconic westerns. There’s something for every team. If you have something specific in mind of would like a bespoke storyline, you’re welcome to develop your own story, and we’ll bring it to life with you.
Absolutely! If you’d like to integrate your company values, campaign, or specific message, we’re happy to adapt our script drafts accordingly.

While most participants take on acting roles, there are plenty of other tasks too — from scriptwriting and directing to set design and location scouting. Everyone finds a role that suits them.
